Now Lightroom already had features like flags and keywords to help speed up the culling process, but this week, I discovered a new Lightroom Mobile AI feature that is a GAME CHANGER!

Add Your Photos to an Album in Lightroom
I like to organize my photos when I upload them into Lightroom to save me time sorting them into albums later. I typically create a folder and then an album with the clients’ name and shoot date in Lightroom and then dump all of my session photos into that album.
Culling
Now that we have created the client’s album with all of the photos from the shoot, we then open that album in the Lightroom mobile app. Once you have the album open, click on the three dots in the upper right corner of the app. Select “Choose Best Photos” from the bottom of the menu.
Analyzing
Once you have selected “Choose Best Photos”, Lightroom mobile will begin analyzing the photos in the selected album. This may take several minutes.
Chosen Photos
When Lightroom has finished analyzing the album, you will see the chosen photos separated at the top. You can use the “Quality Threshold” slider feature at the bottom to set the quality you would like. This number will increase or decrease depending on your final desired image quality.
Saving AI Chosen Photos to a Separate Album
You can save the AI Chosen Photos to their own album if you wish. Do this by first selecting the arrow (>) next to the number of photos in the “Chosen” album. Then click the three dots again at the upper right. From this menu, choose “Add to album” then choose or create the album to save the chosen photos for further editing. You can also select photos from here to flag or reject as well.
