Guests often compare prices when selecting accommodations and they almost ALWAYS check out the fees. By not imposing a cleaning fee, your listing will absolutely appear more competitive and appealing, potentially attracting more guests and bookings.

2. Perceived Transparency

Some guests appreciate transparent pricing and may view a separate cleaning fee as sneaky and unclear. Incorporating cleaning costs into the nightly rate can create a perception of honesty and straightforwardness.

3. Positive Reviews

Guests tend to appreciate value and fairness in pricing. By avoiding a separate cleaning fee (that can simply be added to the base price of the nightly rate instead), guests may perceive it as a more reasonable pricing structure. And of course, this could result in more positive reviews and higher ratings, contributing to the overall appeal of your listing.
